Psalm 91
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the
shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God,
in whom I trust.'"
Declaration of Protection
We declare that the schools of our nation will operate under Your protective shield this year.
May teachers and students alike draw close to You and may the nearness of Your Presence overshadow our schools. You are the refuge for the frightened, the lonely or misunderstood; may many of our most vulnerable students seek shelter in Your unconditional love.
"Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the
deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will
find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."
Deliverance from Demonic Oppression
We speak deliverance from every demonic oppression and ask that You would free our students from the snares and traps of the enemy!
We declare that our schools are shielded from deadly diseases and outbreaks of sickness and that they function under Your protective canopy.
"You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies
by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague
that destroys at midday."
In Jesus' name we declare that demonic torments of fear, anxiety, panic, depression, and mental illness are bound and rendered powerless over the students of our schools.
For those shamed, threatened, and victimized by bullies or cyberbullies and living in fear, we speak Your peace, courage and protection over them and we break the power of intimidation and shame!
For every student and teacher plagued by suicidal or homicidal thoughts, we bind the spirit of death and break its hold over our young people in Jesus' name!
Safety & Security
We cancel all plans of the enemy to bring terror attacks, school shootings, bombings, knifings, or any other kind of violence.
We lift up our security personnel, local law enforcement, and the FBI and pray that You would help them in their work and make them vigilant. We declare that any hidden plot will be uncovered according to Your Word:
"Since there is nothing covered that won't be uncovered and nothing hidden that won't be made known."
"A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right
hand, but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the
wicked."
We pray that the Christians in our schools would truly be such carriers of Your presence that those around them would be deeply affected and that in Your mercy, our schools would be safe from the kind of senseless violence that has occurred on other campuses.
"If you say, 'The Lord is my refuge,' and you make the Most High
your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent."
Spiritual Warfare Declarations
We declare Your word over schools that no disasters would come near us – and we proclaim Your sovereign protection from natural and man-made disasters over our schools.
"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all
your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike
your foot against a stone."
May Your angels guard our students in all their ways; we ask for protection over all school buses and all transportation, in particular students who are young, inexperienced drivers.
We pray against drunk and reckless driving or driving while texting. We thank You for divine intervention in many would-be collisions and we boldly believe that the car accident rate, especially for fatal collisions among our young people, will be significantly reduced.
"You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent."
We declare a breaking of demonic strongholds in our schools that have brought devastation into the lives of our students, such as drug abuse, immorality, occultism and deception.
We take a stand against those things that have hindered the advance of the gospel, in Jesus' name.
Final Declaration
"Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in
trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy
him and show him my salvation."
We declare long and healthy lives over our students and teachers and that many would come to salvation this year and have eternal life.
Thank you for Your Word that does not fail and does not return to You void but accomplishes everything for which You send it, even as we speak it over our schools, in Jesus' name. Amen.
